Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Got to see Willy Wonka and the Half-Blood Prince, err I mean Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yesterday. I had heard some mixed reviews, but I thought it was pretty good. I liked the wacky creepiness that Johnny Depp gave to the role. So weird and crazy, it just makes me laugh. I'd also like to get a Willy Wonka outfit for Halloween. Maybe it's the top hat. Top hats are AWESOME!!! heh... *recompose myself* There was this extra backstory with Count Dooku, err Christopher Lee as Willy Wonka's dad which I'm feeling kinda so-so about, but overall I liked it.

On a completely different topic, has anybody here tried eMusic.com? We're gonna try their 14-day trial soon, but I was curious if anyone had any comments about it first. I heard you need to use their download manager. Any problems with spyware or anything like that? Thanks.

Some Hot Topic stores have already started carrying replica Wonka-coats. $65 isn't cheap, but the article looked (and felt) quality. Some firm named "Redballs of London" was featured on the tag, if I remember correctly.
Hmm, I'm most likely not gonna buy it, but I'll defintely keep an eye out for it. Thanks!
I liked the movie too. I want a trained squirrel now.
Don't touch that squirrel's nuts!
lol I don't plan to!! hehehe
I had eMusic back when they were cool (all you can eat), I canceled with the new regime. Didn't have any spyware problems with downloader, but it didn't always download the tracks correctly. I have mixed feelings about them. Their new pricing model is annoying, but on the other hand you don't have to put up with any DRM BS. Their catalog is *very* inde (indepentent, not inde-rock), which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your tastes. The thing I really likes about it was that, since it was all you could eat, I could download *everything* and just toss out the stuff I didn't like. The download caps make that a lot less appealing, given that if you're not cool like me, you have no idea whether or not you'll like something. Also, they didn't have any sort of ratings or discussion for albums/tracks, so all you got was their editorial reviews, which were sparse and not all that helpful.

That said, that was a long time ago, and I haven't really looked at it since.
